Leadership Training Workshop in Albuquerque April 9

The semi-annual AAUP Leadership Training Workshop will be held in Albuquerque on Saturday, April 9, 2005. Subjects to be covered include graduate student organizing, communications, lobbying and evaluation of administrators. Presentations will be made by staff and member-leaders of the association. Leadership Training Workshops are held Fall and Spring in different parts of the U.S. under the sponsorship of two divisions of AAUP - the Assembly of State Conferences (ASC) and the Collective Bargaining Congress (CBC). The goal is to develop grassroots leadership of local chapters and conferences, and future national leadership. The workshop will be held at the Wyndham Hotel at the Albuquerque Sunport. Special rates have been negotiated at the hotel (843-7000). The workshop begins at 8:30 am and is scheduled to conclude at 4:30 pm.
